Van Life & Art Shows

Hi guys, a warm welcome to all my new subscribers. I would say that this vlog is NOT representative of my vlogs. With that said, however, I think you will like it. And I do, at the end, show some of my latest work. 

For all of you practitioners of photography, let me remind you that a photograph on my vlog is not, what I would call, a good shot. 90% of all shots are garbage. Of the remaining ten percent, 8% may be salvageable in a diminished capacity. Then 1% are great photos but are not sharp enough, or something is just cut out of the frame, or the light isn’t exactly right—there is something tiny. The final 1% is excellent. But truth be told, an awesome, amazing photo, I would count myself fortunate if I get 3 in a year.

All that is to say, don’t be hard on yourself. If you think you are going to get a great photo every day, you’re setting yourself up for frustration, self-doubt, and eventually throwing your arms up in the air. I’ll say more about that later in a vlog.

This will be more than likely my last vlog of the year. I will be off to the Bahamas in December to swim with the fishes.
